Q: I was sent an email that says my ad was declined for Sexually Suggestive Image. It says that Yahoo will not allow ads that use images that contain sexually suggestive images or situations. How can I fix this?
A: Don’t use images of individuals in bathing suits or underwear to promote unrelated products. Don’t use images that focus on body parts like the chest, cleavage, or buttocks. Don’t use images where models appear to be naked, even if they aren’t. Make sure images are tasteful and appropriate for a general audience.
Q: I was sent an email that says my ad will not run because of immodest images. What does this mean?
A: Images are restricted in certain regions; alter your geotargeting or change the image so it doesn’t include bare shoulders or knees or include couples in flirtatious poses.

Yahoo does not allow sexually suggestive ad text, images or landing pages. This includes but isn’t limited to sexual descriptions, references, puns, or innuendo; total, partial, or suggested nudity. Images, text, and landing pages should be appropriate for a general audience. Images may not highlight specific body parts for sexual effect and must be relevant to the product or service offered and compliant with local laws and regulations. Ads that use models in swimwear or lingerie to promote completely unrelated products will not be allowed.
