Pixels

Abstract

Describes Yahoo DSP and Native support for Dot tags (pixels), with references to conversion rules and connecting to audiences.

Note that pixels will automatically be provisioned on the DSP account. It won’t be the responsibility of the API partner to migrate.

Overview

Both Yahoo DSP and Native support Yahoo’s Dot Tag pixels, which offer a universal, cross-platform tracking tag. A single pixel can be used to record many different types of events for conversion tracking.

You can create and manage pixels that work across Yahoo’s DSP and Native platforms. Once you create pixels, you can add rules to them for tracking conversions and retargeting.

By definition, a pixel is an organizational structure for a series of rules. One pixel can contain many rules.
